You will need

  1. A computer with a fast internet connection   
  2. Your Havergal Google account username and password

Introduction

Prezi is an online tool that allows you to create engaging and fun presentations, either on your own or with others. It also provides easy ways to share your presentations. To create your Prezi account, follow the steps below.

1 - Create a Prezi account

  1. Go to http://prezi.com/pricing/edu/ Find the Basic (free) subscription option on the left side and select the grey CONTINUE button:

  1. Select the I’m not a robot box and the age certification check box
NOTE: You must be 13 or older to use Prezi!
  1. Select the Sign up with Google button:

  1. Select your Havergal Google account username (email address) and enter your password if prompted:

  1. You should see a message indicating that a confirmation email has been sent:


  1. Open the email sent by Prezi and select the web link it contains to confirm your email. If selecting (or clicking) the link does not work, copy/paste the link into your web browser’s address bar:

  1. On the web page that opens, you may need to enter your Havergal Google email address and password to enter the Prezi site
  2. Once you’re logged in, you also may be shown a short tour of the features, as you see in this screenshot:

2 - Start using Prezi

  1. You are now ready to start using Prezi! Select the ? icon at the top right of the page and select the Get started with Prezi option from the drop-down menu:

3 - Share a Prezi presentation

  1. When your first Prezi is done, you can share it with your teacher and others using the following procedure
  2. Find your Prezi’s card displayed on your dashboard and select the Three-dot icon at the bottom right:

  1. On the pop-up menu that appears, select the Privacy and sharing option:


  1. Select the People with the link option and then use the Copy button to copy the share link:


  1. You can now send the share link to your teacher or to your classmates/colleagues
